Book Reviews

June 8, 2019

"I loved it A LOT! I was planning on reading it over the next couple days but once I got started then I had to finish. You weave a story that makes me need to know what happens next. It usually takes me a long time to read any book.

I can't think of any books that have gotten any physical reactions from me. A few times I jumped in my seat. Yelling stuff like, 'Oh Shit!'. I think one of the best parts of your writing is your characters talk naturally and like how people actually talk. They feel so real."

Sugar Coated Savages

"@Kamayatarpley I LOVED Sugar Coated Savages! I can't think of a time I read through a book in one night. The dedication and a few sections in the book got me in my feelings. I took the time to stop and listen to each song mentioned. It enhanced the action.

I felt a little weird because I was getting really excited and cheering them on. I wrote down the quote 'I will never allow my mind to betray my soul that way'. One day I may have to respond to someone with it. So true :) The ending was so satisfying.

There's so much more I wish I could express right now. The book was such a thrill and I needed you to know how much I enjoyed it. And as someone who experienced abandonment, thank you for writing this book. It was cathartic.

I look forward to reading more of your work." @NothingVNothing

“Would make a good movie. This book was so unique and beautifully written. I got through it in two days. I love the story concept and the direction the book takes in terms of not going where you think it's going.” - Anne C.

"I haven't read any other books that took on the point of view of the succubus and the struggles they may be going through about what they are.I enjoyed the ending and i hope to read a sequel that keeps the tradition of viewing the world through the eyes of the things that go bump in the night."
